BLITZKRIEG

Blitzkrieg was formed in Leicester in October 1980. Their first demo, made in November that year, secured them their first recording deal with Neat Records resulting in the famous Blitzkrieg/Buried Alive single & a track on the Lead Weight compilation album. There are always many doubts when a long time inactive band releases a new album. It is not so easy to expect so much as you don’t really know what time has taken away from the band. PAGAN ALTAR

  Pagan Altar, formed 1976 by Alan and Terry Jones, they are one of the few NWOBHM bands to play doom metal. Their gigs were characterised by moody, epic and heavy music interpreted with highly visual stage aspect which accented their interest for occult themes. Deep Machine are a British Heavy Metal band, formed in 1979 by guitarist Bob Hooker. The original line up was a four piece with Bob on Guitar, Kin Lou ( Bass) John Edwards ( Vocals), and Pete Clements ( Drums)….. Kin Lou left the band and was replaced by Kevin Maloney on Bass.
