As a starting point, I am a huge Manilla Road fan, having the honor to see them on stage and carrying their backpatch for years. I always welcome their new releases and I’ve never been frustrated at any time. In their long history, Mr. Shelton and crew have always been very productive. Especially, for the 80s period, Manilla Road stood as one of the most unique bands with their epic, progressive and powerful music. MANILLA ROAD

It was the 1970′s and Epic Metal was not even a genre of music yet. For that matter the term Heavy Metal did not even refer to music but the French based fantasy magazine Métal Hurlant. The phrase Heavy Metal was just barely showing up in the works of a very few bands. Steppenwolf had used the phrase heavy metal thunder in their hit song “Born to Be Wild”.
