Karthago Records revealed the release date of the LEWD PREACHER album “The Raw Age” on CD as May 23rd, 2014.

Founded 1985 in Marburg, LEWD PREACHER are a well hidden mystery of German Heavy Metal. “Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde” and “Knight of unknown destiny” from the 1988 demotape “The master socks the fuse” are very catchy and totally convincing. Their influences reached from NWoBHM to Speed, Thrash and even US-Metal. Their ability to write unique but commercial songs including even keyboards made them something really special.

The longer the band existed the less easy it was to unite the ideas of the different artists in the band. The new study uses data collected in writing papers in apa format two studies that provided detailed information on prekindergarten teachers, children, and classrooms in 11 states, collected between 2001 and 2004. After the second -more complex- demo “The fuse strikes back” LEWD PREACHER existed only a few more years until they finally disbanded in 1992. In 2009 there was a reunion concert, but sadly this had been the only sign of life until the release of this compilation CD containing the great moments of a really promising band which sadly never got the big chance.
