EXCITER PARTS WAYS WITH BASSIST ROB COHEN

Canadian thrashers EXCITER have parted ways with bassist Rob “Clammy” Cohen “due to differences (both personal and business) regarding the future of the band. ” The remaining members of EXCITER — Rik Charron (drums) and Kenny Winter (vocals) — states;  “We are not disbanding but we will be taking some time to regroup.

“We apologize to all of our fans for the confusion during this recent turmoil. I don’t, obviously, tick reference but it ticks that checkbox at the back of my mind. Rest assured that EXCITER will return to smash and thrash for all you heavy metal maniacs worldwide. We’ll see you on the road. “

As the Exciter fans would remember guitarist John Ricci left the Band in February after announcing his decision to retire from the music business. Currently, there are no original members in the Band and it is really questionable to use “Exciter” name without the presence of any original members, mainly Dan Beehler and John Ricci.
